If your practice has a Calendar Integration, you can adjust the periods of time when Zocdoc reads availability from your practice’s scheduling software.
What are working hours?
Working hours are the periods of time when a provider sees patients at each of their practice locations. Zocdoc will never show availability outside of your working hours, even if there is open availability in your practice’s scheduling software.
How do I edit working hours?
Once you’re signed into your practice’s account, select Your Name and then Working Hours.
Select the Provider Name whose hours you want to update. Then choose the start and end time for each day, and the locations the hours apply to.
Tips:
- Make working hours as wide of a range as possible. The Calendar Integration can tell when you’ve blocked off your calendar for lunch, so we won’t accidentally offer a time you’re unavailable to patients. If you work from multiple practice locations (including virtual locations), make sure you add hours for each location.
Can I customize working hours for new patients and existing patients?
By default, your working hours will apply to both new and existing patients. If you’d like to specify hours for new and existing patients, reach out to our service team for help.
